Goodmonrning everybody,
I'm Alfio from Sicily, Italy and I am the happy owner of a splendid MB 420 SEC of 1986.
I've just bought the car and I have to begin to repair it.
the engine is ok.
I'm looking for a repair manual about this model or similar (380/500).
Could u help me, please?

Welcome Alfio, make yourself at home. You are among friends here.

Your 1986 420 SEC is indeed rare and unique here in the states. I am most confident I can help with any questions you may have with regards to the early/European model 380/500.

We dont offer any specialized photo CD for the 380/500 but I would be more than happy to help with any questions you may have.

Welcome!

I am fixing to set up my user account right now! I dont own a Mercedes but I love working on cars. I have a 1988 Ford Mustang 5.0 and I have over 200,000 miles on it with the original engine! Still runs good and only burns a quart every oil change!

Zedd! Is that any way to treat a new member? Zedd I insist you start taking your medication at once or refrain from bothering our friend from Italy!

Sorry Alfio, some of our members are here because they could only dream of having a Mercedes... So they like to come in here and pick on people that really do.

How did that Sunroof part work out for you? Were you able to make it fly in the SEC? Been wondering how it went.
