NAPSTER

Well here at the shop we have not had much of a music selection, so I set up an account with Napster. To my supprise it seems to have a lot of music but they want to charge me $9.99 per month. I figure that has to be less than a CD at retail, plus they allow us to burn the music to a CD. I cant see how I can go wrong. Thats $120 a year though. Good thing its a business expence.

Do you know how boaring it is to work on cars with no music?

I always liked the Napster logo. That little cat with headphones looks really cool.

Anyone else have any Napster stories?

Well I have been using Napster for a little while now.... long enough to have paid for my first membership fees of $9.99. Anyway it seems some songs you have to pay .99 cents for in order to download. This kind of sucks but what the heck you going to do?

Here are some of the new songs that I have come to dig while on napster.

Jim Jones "We fly high/Stay Fly"

Bitch Boy... I mean Rich Boy "Throw some D's"

Shop Boyz - "Party Like a Rock-Star"

LLYOD - "Get it shawty"

Justin Timberlake "Summer Love"

For all you old people in here, thats the sheeat thats new out there. Unless there is anyone else in here that wants to show me something newer. biggrin

After using Napster for over a few months now I have a lot of bad things to report! I have cancelled Napster because really I dont think their service is worth a dime anymore and here is why,

(1) It take a real long time to navagate the console. This is because they no longer allow you to have your Napster Player on the computer and want you to log on-line to us the system. This really sucks and it seems they require you to update to a new platform that does not work with Windows leaving you with no other way to get to your music without logging online.

(2) When you buy music they hide it from you. Yes this is true! I paid .99 cents for a song and guess what!? It was a waste of money! I was not permitted to keep the song on my computer or burn it to a CD. So basiclly it was a total waste!

(3) Price increases! Yep they try getting more and more money each month! To make it worse they dont have any customer support and trying to find the phone number is next to impossible.

I know there were lots of other things I did not like about napster but to be honest Napster has a long way to go before I will ever give them a 2nd chance! Even then they will NEVER get my credit card information again!

Anyone else use napster?

Much better options out there for free. Go to any public torrent site.
