Well I guess he kept his promise to his kids... Sort of...

Anyway aparently the Kennedy family gave the Obama's their dog, likley because they were tired of hearing right wing folks like myself bitch about how Obama doesnt keep his promises, however in this situation, it appears he has delivered with a little help from friends.

Not only did he keep his puppy promise, but he ok'd the successful Navy sniper attack that rescued the ship captain held hostage by Somali pirates.  Not too bad a week for our commander in chief I'd say.
