The Republicans sold out to the railroads in the 1800's and have been sold out to corporate America ever since. Republicans have always been the party of big corporate money. Dems have always been at a financial disadvantage because they are the party of much smaller individual donations from the working class people they represent.
It is for this reason the Republican majority on the supreme court decided recently in the Citizens United case that corporations should be able to donate as much money as they want to political campaigns and drown out the voices of regular citizens.
It speaks to the absolute worse problem we have as a country... This idea of corporate person-hood is destroying our democracy and must be undone as soon as the Dems regain control of the high court.
I got a question PowerStroker, if it was ever found out that Obama was not a natural citizen, and that he had ties with terrorist would that mean that everyone who voted for him and or contributed to his campaign could be charged with funding a terror organazation?
I mean really? From what I read the only reason the democrats got any money from some of the companies was because they were REQUIRED. Imagine that, a country so free your company is required to support the opposing team! Regulation is wonderfull! If your a jack-ass Democrat! LOL

McCain was born in Panama because his parents were in the US Military stationed there! He too served in the armed forces and was even a POW. There is no doubt he is an American.
Obama on the other hand was born in Hawaii but moved over seas. Many people question his short form birth certificate. He speaks in forein toung regularly, bows to a Saudi King while giving the Queen of England the cold shoulder. He is an American president, he should speak the native laungage out of respect for the people that have no intentions of leaving the great nation we empowered him to lead. It is quite clear that the image many Americans have of Obama are propped up by the media. I feel there is a significant side of Obama that many do not know exist.
I know parts of this video have already been covered in here, and I know it has been cut here and there however the bottom line is he said all these things.

Obama was born in Hawaii and is an American president. (edited for rambling reduction)
I think that makes Obama even more American than McCain.
Were you offended when Jackie Kennedy spoke perfect French to the French prime minister? Knowing another language doesn't mean one is less patriotic... just more educated.
Jackie Kennedy wasnt the President of the United States. While knowing how to speak a diffrent language is a plus, it's not something an AMERICAN President should be doing.
Obama more American than McCain? LOL that was good a laugh!

Yeah I guess you have a point there. LOL however you seem to be the one stereotyping and what does that have to do with speaking the native language? It spooks me out when people in government choose to start talking in a foreign language. Unlike Obama not all of us have translators, Teleprompters and CIA style ear speakers.

ST. PAUL, Minn. Here's something Target Corp. isn't advertising in its Sunday circular: The discount retailer is now a major donor to a group backing the Republican candidate for Minnesota governor.
And that's not sitting well with every Target shopper.
Under new laws allowing corporations to spend company money on election campaigns, the Minneapolis-based chain gave $150,000 to a Republican-friendly political fund staffed by insiders from departing GOP Gov. Tim Pawlenty's administration. The group, MN Forward, is running TV ads supporting state legislator Tom Emmer, the presumptive GOP nominee.
Electronic retailer Best Buy Co., another major Minnesota-based corporation, gave $100,000 to the group, according to an MN Forward report made public Tuesday.
I have been buying their classic book re-makes of all the classic games like Risk and Stratego. Next year it's monopoly and sorry. They have that little food court in just about all of them here. I usually get the pop corn and the free refill soda.
So PowerStroker, there must not be nothing to write home about when it comes to Democrat contributions huh? I expect that's because your idea's SUCK.
