Not my area of expertise. I do know General Electric built the reactor, it's identical to most here in the states, and GE didn't even pay a single penny in taxes last year.

Can you say corporate wellfare? I wonder which party fought for such a thing?

Does everything have to be a partisan battle with you PowerStroker? Didn't the Administration strike up a deal with GE recently? Do you want to talk about that?

Given the current findings of radiation in Washington milk you might want to make yourself more aware of radiation. Do I think that GE is responsible for Japan placing one in the "ring of fire"? NO! The first thing that went thru my mind when this story broke was "What were they thinking!"... A 9.0 quake followed by a massive tsunami seems like an awful lot.. Doesn't the scale stop at 10?

SELLC, what's going on ? You've been so quiet the last 12-months or so, & barely post, & as soon as I mention the Bush's & give PowerStroker a little support, you carpet bomb your forum like Stoma used to LOL !!!!!! I should do this more often ( gulp )...I can hardly keep up with all the new posts !!! I didn't realize that you were keeping your finger on the pulse of so many issues at once, & am grateful for your insight !

Anyhow, if it's not too late, your first post here does ask some questions that even now may not have been answered, so I'll take a chance of putting some numbers & things where they're asked..

1. The disaster is so bad, that even now, close to 5-years later, we still can't determine what is actually going on there, & whether there's any fuel left in reactors 1 & 3... No.2 it's been confirmed has likely breached containment, settled in the earth at some point, & every-time Japan has a tropical storm & floods, all the raw nuclear fuel bleeds into the ocean uncontrolled...........

2. Within the first 2-weeks of the disaster, the entire globe was covered with fall-out, & this was the worst period for humans & animals, due to the likely ingestion of "hot particles", ( radioactive dust ) that basically settle in your lungs & will cause cancer at some point. And like asbestos, can't be surgically removed. Probably the West coast of the US-of-A will have been exposed to the greatest amount of hot particles, & will see the greatest rise in lung-cancers, but the Government, via the W.H.O. & IAEA will ensure that no real statistics are revealed, only doctored ones, due to an agreement made in the 1950's between the two agencies, where one would not release information about the other, without the others prior consent.

3. No radiation is good for you !!!!!!!!!! Many secret tests on humans & animals have been conducted over the years ( even to this present day ), & they're likely basing the crystal-ball calculations based on these tests results. Some folks will suffer earlier in their life, others a little later, but any ingestion of radioactive particles destroys cells & DNA etc on an irreversible & non-repairable level, that remains permanently there-after deformed. Great Stuff hey ?....The poison involved here is "Strontium 90", & basically mimics Calcium throughout the food-chain & cycle. Ultimately it ends up in your bones, & gradually builds up to the point where more cells are being destroyed than being produced. End result is Bone Cancer or Leukemia. It's this phase of cancer that the Japanese & the population are bracing for now. ( Yes it's all predetermined, & can be estimated from all the tests in the past of what to expect & when)....

4. I've posted an attachment in the other thread we started about Fukushima, & there's a graphical representation or table within that attachment to answer the query. It's an official Australian Government Report, so look for that tag. You're correct in being miss-led by your Government about ingestion being different to exposure. Put simply, when you sit next to a fire to warm yourself up, the amount of absorbed radiation ( heat ) is calculated by your body-mass ( in Kg's, ( Kilograms )) in accord to the temperature of your body. So the larger your body, the more radiation ( heat, measured in KJ ( KiloJules) you absorb to reach a pre-set temperature. How does one calculate a "hot particle", or in this example, a "hot piece of coal" you've swallowed that could radiate for "x" amount of time, & "x" amount of KJ's & remain undetected ? It's this realization that was kept secret / undisclosed, so as to allow further air-borne Nuclear Bomb testing to continue, since the "real" amount of ingestion could remain hidden & the person / animal studied before it died etc etc etc. ( You've just got to love the Industrial Military Complex hey ?... And then they tell us that we're creating global warming from our CO2 emissions, & need nukes, since they're environmentally friendly, until we have to find somewhere to put the waste)...

At least France & the U.K. have found a way to get rid of their Nuclear Waste !!!!! Yes !!!! Their "official" LAND STORAGE is miles of pipeline that enters the sea, & they just pump it straight out into the Atlantic Ocean. And this is perfectly acceptable by the UN, the IAEA, & the rest of us it seems....Holland has made a special little "Bob-Cat" tractor that regularly pulls over 1/2-a-Kilogram of Plutonium off its beaches every year. Just 1-gram of Plutonium is enough to wipe out every living thing within the size of Central Park, NYC. Wonderful stuff !!! And the Nuclear Industry philosophy to all of this is.....

"THE SOLUTION TO POLLUTION IS DILUTION".........( Even now, they don't want to admit what's going on, & when asked about it, they say that it's a philosophical question )....

"THE SACRIFICE OF A FEW, FOR THE NEEDS OF THE MANY"......( You certainly don't want to be one-of-the-few do you ? Guess what ? )....

Well Rastus, your post did put a preverbal fire in my belly to prove you wrong.. As such I did go thru pages and pages of past post to resurrect them - if only to prove that what PowerStroker has been saying all these years was WRONG. I guess part of the reason also could stem from the fact that it is getting pretty cold at nights here and as such I'll be spending more time on the computer rather than paying to heat the garage.

I think I'll be working more tonight on my web based facilities, now that I have a new Windows 10 computer and all the needed software to make the website more "browser" friendly. My site still works on IE6 and such but it no longer works on any of the new web browsers such as Safari, Edge, IE 10, or FireFox. It's a shame they keep changing up HTML and to be honest my old Gateway computer made in 2000 works quite well, it just cant surf the internet anymore because of the inability to upgrade the Internet Explorer any further.

I really wasn't trying to teach anyone a lesson. I'm more concerned with my own sanity really... You see, given the facts I can not understand why people are not screaming mad about the direction this country has been heading. I knew from the start that Obama was all hot air, but I could see a lot of people falling into the "race-bait" trap when it came to supporting Obama. Clearly his entire administration has been propped up by loans, despite the fact we were already in a fair amount of debt due to the Iraq war (which by the way I still feel was necessary, even today).

Yes, I have kept my finger on the pulse of this nation. I did not start all of these threads for no reason. It has always been my intention to resurrect these threads as the truth came to pass. My only wish now is that this whole house of cards built by the Democrats will come crashing down BEFORE Obama gets out of office. I want this man and his band of Democrats exposed for what they are! It will take such a thing to bring the Republican party back in power, otherwise if the nation elects another crook like Hillary it could possibly see the USA in a situation it can no longer get out of, sans a major war. Based on what I am seeing, Obama is already trying to simmer that scenario with the buildup in the Middle East - namely Syria.

So yes, you can take some pride in knowing you stoked the fire that was inevidible sooner or later... You just made sure it was sooner. LOL

If you have the time, you really should read the older threads I have recently resurrected.. It's some good reading and offers some insight that may never filter down all the way over there. At least not until it's too late and China or Russia is running the world.

1. Has the weather changed that much for you guys already ? We're still waiting for the winter & spring rains that haven't arrived yet...Must be a nuclear winter & summer on the cards for the both of us...It usually rains here for 3+weeks straight, & then you get 3-days of sun LOL, but not this year...I shouldn't complain, I love the sun & I get about more. You don't suppose some ass-hole is playing around with H.A.A.R.P. do you ?....

2. Congratulations on the new computer ! I dare say there won't be too many headaches...I use Firefox as my search engine, what will I have to change to ( if at all ) to still access this place ?...

3. Just reading some of these posts does teach people some stuff, even with a little sarcasm & humor thrown in, so you do pretty well as far as lessons go. Your own sanity is probably pretty healthy, it's the rest of the world that's nuts, make no mistake. They call them "sheeple", & are easy to manage & question nothing, yet alone post up their point-of-views here LOL ! I won't go down the path of the Iraq war, simply since the 2nd-one was based purely on a corrupted & black-flagged ( Hollywood ) 9/11, that cost many America lives as an excuse to start it, in the name of "Terror"...That's the biggest load-of-BS I've had to endure in my lifetime so far. Obama said that one of the first things he was going to do when first elected was to withdraw all US troops from Iraq, & instead, he's sent thousands more & built the largest US-of-A military bases there outside of the US-of-A. That seems more like a continuation of the "old regime" to me, or if you rather, the on-going plan of the real agenda behind the scenes...

4. They're all "crooks" to my eyes SELLC, Obama works for Wall st, Hillary for the Biderbergers LOL ! And they all pyramid back eventually to the same source. As for Syria, it sounds like a lot of hogwash to me, except that many people have needlessly died IMHO. At least weapons spending from all concerned has increased, so that should please the likes of the Carlyle Group & company, & drive the economy again, as it always does...

You're correct in that some of it doesn't relate to an Aussie, but it's still good fun to see you two, slinging-it-out with wit & stirring. Apparently China is very upset with both the US-of-A & Australia at the moment with regards to us "making our own islands" in the South China Sea, & see it as a possible threat to set up Military bases...Which is perfectly validated & true, but also necessary since we'll be the ones called to help the "free nations" when things turn to shit, so it makes sense for us to be within striking distance when the "shit hits the fan"....

Don't stress too much SELLC, it's out of your hands & most citizens as to what will happen in the future. Just be happy that you see through the BS & spread the word !
