Gas is under $3.50 a gallon (I have to use Premium), Qaddafi has been toppled, The DOW is almost at 12,000, and the war in Iraq is going to end in 2011...
Impressive.
If the people of Iraq are not going to pay for our services, both past, present and future, we need to pull out of there. Either way we need to get back what we spent, whatever it takes to make it at least a wash where we break even.

Well, I hate to put a damper on Obama's "Roll", but there seems to be some problems.
1st would be that Libya claims it will use Sharia law to replace any current laws that run contrary to Islam. Guess its safe to say a Democracy is not going to be coming to Libya any time soon, additionally, it's safe to say the new Boss is going to be even darker than Quddafi... Think Iraq, or Pakistan.
2nd would be that the Afghanistan president now claims it would back Packistan in the event the US goes to war with Packistan. This at a time when we are going to pull out of Iraq and loose our footing there.
I sure hate to think we are kicking the can down the road. I have been realatively happy over the weekend, but now it seems that some of these "changes" may actually work out to be changes for the worse (in the long run).
What do you think?

The Afghan president is doing some political posturing to keep himself from being whacked by a warlord. The Libyan people will create a religious government, but it won't be as harsh as full Sharia. The idea that Libya or Afghanistan would ever adopt a Jeffersonian democracy has always been laughable.
Is that what the special Democrat website/hotline said when you entered in my response?
Do you think its possible to forward a bill for our share of the efforts to this new Sharia government? Something to where... You know... We "make" some money? Oh that's right, Islam says that charging interest is wrong. That's a damn good way to prevent your nation from paying interest in debt... "Sorry, it is against my religion to pay you and interest".
So now that the people of Libya have all been liberated, and they get back to non-war lives, do you think maybe people will start looking around and realizing that they have pretty much destroyed everything? And what they might not have destroyed was almost certianly blown to shit by NATO.
So now on to the Afghanistan situation. Lets say we pull out of Iraq. Then the shit hits the fan with Pakistan (cuz we kicked in the back door for Osama), then Afghanistan tells us to fuck off (after all that money given to them). What then? Egypt is now on shaky ground, Libya will most certainly tell us to get fucked, and you just know Iran is dying to start building nukes. Never mind the fact Pakistan already has nukes.
Hmmmm.... Seems like there is a whole lot that can go wrong. But we got our man, under Obama we have found ways to topple dictators and set an example to the world that unmanned drone strikes to topple a government is NOT considered an act of war, providing we can take your ass out within 90 days, and hey, even if it goes past 90 days we can always cook something else up. You see PowerStroker, when we captured Saddam it was under a declaration of war, not to mention he was taken ALIVE and tried before the court.
People always said the Republicans were war mongers, but from what I see from the Democrats it's hard to think these same people were giving Bush such a hard time, even though he went thru the proper channels. Bush got our government to agree to war and told the UN to go fist themselves. Obama told Americans to go fist themselves and saught out the approval of the UN and sucked us in that way.
It's the example it sets. If we can claim 90+ days of allied war bird and drone attacks is not considered war, then what happens when some other nation builds up an arsenal and decides to take out our key infrastructure?
For some reason I dont feel the drawdown in Iraq is because Obama wants to end wars. For some reason I feel like he wants to start new ones, yet he does not want to call them wars, thus being able to circumvent congress.
It seems no good deed goes unpunished and your only as good as your needed at the moment.

I wasn't aware that I made a conspiracy theory... I was more or less explaining the tensions in the region as it pertains to the middle east, not including Obamas new found African soft spot.
We sent 100 troops to Africa to take out some brutal tribe of "bad guy" but when it comes to Mexican drug lords on OUR boarders we cant be bothered. It just gets swept under the rug "fast and furiously".

It's honestly all gotten so fucked up I am not even paying much attention to politics lately.
Of course Obama tried to say that recently too.. He said "I dont pay attention to GOP candidates until the pack slims down" (or something to that effect). He way lying out his ass, he's out there trying to give money to his union base, wipe student loans, re-finance upside down homeowners (if they are not behind LOL), and pretty much everything but throwing the White House kitchen sink at the problem.
While I commend his valiant effort, I try to ask myself what would an uncheck 2nd term Obama look like? I seen what he did when he first got in office, and I see what he's doing now, but what would he REALLY be like in a 2nd term? Would he care? Would Americans be as important then as they are now on the eve of campaign season? Something tells me.... I don't know... Obama is pulling out stops, delivering and busting ass, and you just cant help but like someone like that, but there is something else. Something not quite right.
I am sure if you read over the MB-TP section you might get an idea of what it is.

So now you are wondering the same thing I was but it's Trump this time?
Well, I am pretty sure there isn't anyone currently who can touch Trump, but I could be wrong. It has to be hard times for a Democrat until the convention because the field of contenders for the Democrats is starting to make the 2016 Republican nominees look small! How many Democrats have their shoe in for contention? The Democrat infighting is going to get pretty savage soon as they thin the herd, feelings are going to get hurt - they always do! In the meantime I think the electorate majority is still aboard the Trump train and I predict another Trump win in 2020! At least when President Trump wins again you'll only have to squeak out four more years before he's termed out.... but you never know, if President Trump leaves the country way better than he found it he will be leaving the door open for a Donald Trump Jr., much like Bush, only his Dad only served one term. One thing is for sure, it's going to be one hell of a ride going into 2020!
