Chicago currently has MORE DEBT and UNFUNDED liabilities than even DETROIT! Not to mention taxes are higher there than just about anywhere else. At least Detroit turned down the Olympics where as Chicago actually tried to host an Olympics knowing damn well they didn't have two cents to rub together. Hell Obama wasted Millions of tax payer dollars jet-setting to Copenhagen where he was laughed out of the meeting.
Hell... Not long ago there was articles about how Chicago was insolvent and unable to pay it's bills... Well that all changed when Rham got in office. Now they don't even talk about it... Did I mention that Obama is FROM Chicago? And who was that guy Rham again? Just Obama's right hand man at the start of his Presidency.
I am sure the term "Dirty Chicago Politics" was just an exageration huh?
So tell me again how two Democrats that run their own state into the ground in debt are supposed to solve the entire nations problem? That's what I thought.

you cant broad brush an entire party based on the actions of a few bad apples. Just like I cant judge your party by the actions of its few good apples.
Detroit and Chicago are bigger victims to corporate labor outsourcing to foreign countries than anything else.
I guess they are an argument for tarrifs and other such big government protectionism.

And let's be honest, Minnesota only has Minneapolis which pretty much only has recognition because of the movie Super Man. Outside of that, WTF else does Minnesota offer? I hardly think it's fair to compare a SMALL city like that to major shaker and mover cities like Detroit and Chicago.
How about another example of Democratic WASTE? Let's talk about Wisconsin (your neighbor) look how much time and money those JACKASSES spent trying to recall Governor Walker! And guess what, IT DIDN'T WORK despite repeated tries by the jackasses to impose their will on the people it all turned out to be a big waste of time and money. The end result? They busted the unions and saved the city.
The only saving grace for Democrats? The fact that the GOP/RNC doesn't have a clue when it comes to picking a candidate to run for President. They fucked themselves when they propped up McCain rather than just running with a more charismatic Romney. I'd say the biggest enemy the GOP/RNC has is themselves because the principals and ideals of the Republican party are what I subscribe to, not the BS that the GOP/RNC is dishing out.
Yep... A free ride and government hand out's won the election the past two times, two things the Republican party defiantly does not stand for. Maybe the GOP needs a better liar? Maybe they need some broke ass charismatic rookie to trick the American public like Obama did for the Democrats.
Oh well, it's only a matter of time before the Democratic party has the entire nation as fucked up as Chicago and Detroit, and then of course some scandal will get out to draw attention away from the fact the majority of the nation is in tatters at which point the government will be broke and the trust of the American people lost. That's when a Republican gets elected and the angry nation that was hoodwinked will soon be at war.
