What say you PowerStroker about all these scandles going on?
Or do you think it's better when MSNBC's news President says "We don't do breaking news"? Because I am pretty sure given the details of these scandles many people might be less inclined to voice their opinion because you know... It might result in an audit! LOL!
So what do you say PowerStroker? Is it all good?

My thought is the IRS was doing it's job. Political groups should not be getting tax exempt status. The only reason they gave groups with "tea party" or "patriots" in their name extra scrutiny, is because they have been bombarded with Conservative shill groups like that asking for a tax exempt status they dont deserve. This has been happening since the supreme court ruled in the Citizens United case.
I'm sure if there were a sudden surge of liberal political groups engaging in the same activities, the IRS would pay special attention to them too. But there isn't, so they're not. Either way, this didn't come from Obama's desk anyway, there are many Republicans who work for the IRS too you know.
The only reason the right is calling this a "scandal" is because the people they like are getting picked on by the people they hate. Maybe it's not a scandal at all, maybe the IRS is just doing it's job.

I am glad you said that PowerStroker because I was almost feeling bad for Democrats they were crying so bad towards the end of Bush's term. Next time I'll know just to shove it in a few inches deeper. ;)
