I seem to recall the terms "status quo' and "kicking the can down the road" used by a certain person awhile back.

Yet that is exactly what is going on despite a certain person campaigning otherwise.

Words really can not express how unhappy I am about Obama care and the nations continual lifting of the debt limit. Yet even though this stand-off resulted in a dirty bill with earmarks for Ohio and Colorado it still passed the house and was signed by Obama.

I have reached a point now that I am literally unhappy with ALL of the government, who otherwise waste our time and money. The past few weeks of a Government shutdown have been a gleaming example of why Washington is broken. Knowing full well this sort of thing will happen once more in January makes BOTH parties guilty of "kicking the can down the road".

I must admit that my hopes were up WAY HIGH when a bill was floated that would require everyone from Obama down in the government to use Obama care, but seeing how that bill faltered in the house has opened my eyes to the REAL problems with our government, Self serving politicians from both sides of the isle!

To me, failing to address this issue and all the bullshit that lead up to it has all but destroyed ANY confidence I had in a government that can borrow money with impunity while people like myself have to suffer. Regular people in America are unable to get loans; my business is unable to get a loan. The only loan being given is to my worthless government who are screaming towards insolvency to the tune of $17,000,000,000,000.00 ($17 trillion) dollars.

There was no "Good fight" as the speaker of the house would like to say, all the while sealing an earmark for his state. The merits of the earmark are not something I disagree with but the distraction leading up to the deal is something I disagree with. I am tired of being mislead and lied to. I am tired of doing EVERYTHING I can for people who lack the ability to return the favor. More and more I am growing to despise a great deal of what we call democracy. More and more I feel the two party government is merely a fraud on the American people while the two parties meet behind closed doors as friends with an agenda... What is that agenda? Getting idiots like me to care about something insignificant only to pull some sly of hand to take advantage of me, saddle my kids with debt, and stick me with a new $400-$500 a month bill for worthless insurance. If I can't afford to pay for it? Well that's where idiots like YOU come in to play, subsidizing my premiums.

I am so disgusted with government that at this very moment I am no longer a member of ANY party. I am no longer concerned with the plight of Democrats, Republicans, or the Government. Be it state or federal government I no longer am interested. The Republicans inability to hold the line and do what's right for this nation was a total waste of time and money that should have NEVER been put in motion. The idea that the speaker of the house (who just happens to be from Ohio) got a kick-back for his state makes me realize that this ordeal was not done for the good of the people, rather a pathetic money grab.

I think the Republicans just lost our families vote. That's not to say I would EVER vote for a Democrat, but come election time I doubt I will waste the time to even cast a vote for either party and just stick to local matters on the ballot. Any party that would distract and waste my time this way is not worth my support. So come January when this problem once again rears its ugly head it will be my position that ALL members of the house and senate, right on up to Obama himself should have to pay when the bill collectors come knocking. LET THEM PAY because THEY are the ones who kept up the status quo of kicking the can down the road.
