Well, late July on my 40th Birthday I was at the Michigan Secretary of State getting my yearly fleecing for plates on my Mercedes when I had this bright idea to go ahead and master in my Automotive Certifications. I guess since the State requires you to recertify every 3-8 years in certian areas of repair I had to do some test anyway. Passed the last two needed (transmission) to be a certified "Master" mechanic! Also for good measure I certified in Pre 73 vehicles and HDT - Diesel!
Now I'm hooked and want the HDT master cert. But I think I'll wait till my birthday next year, when I can apply for my "historical" plate on the Benz and put an end to this yearly fleecing. LOL - she will be 25 years old next July!
Thinking of getting one of the ASE test done just for the patch. No point in wasting money when the required certifications come from the state. I noticed the ASE and State test have similar questions in their study guides.
