Stormy Daniels lawyer, and the man who represented the woman who claimed Justice Kavanaugh operated a roving cartel of teenage gang rapists just had a brutal and humiliating reality check regarding his 2020 aspirations.

According to a new CNN poll, Michael Avenatti only received 1% support from his fellow Democrats on his bid for the White House.

Michael Avenatti might be a cable TV mainstay and talk of the town when it comes to 2020 buzz for the Democratic Party, but the polls show hes doesnt have much of a support base.

In the results of a CNN survey, conducted by SSRS, released Sunday, Avenatti has only 1 percent support of 464 Democrats and left-leaning independents who were asked to pick a candidate from a list of people who might challenge Trump in two years.

Avenatti has become a political force this year, not only representing porn star Stormy Daniels in her legal battle with Trump, but has also taken up Democrat-favored causes, such as representing illegal immigrant children separated from their parents at the border and a woman who accused Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct. He has also flirted with the idea of a 2020 run, hailed by some as a tough trash-talker who could go hand-to-hand with Trump in the rhetorical scrap.

Avenatti trails behind the likes of Vice President Joe Biden, who leads the poll with 33 percent of the vote, Sen. Bernie Sanders, and a smattering of other current and former officials.

The poll was conducted in a telephone survey from Oct. 3-7.
