(TeaParty.org) In an operation that serves to underscore the vast differences between our government and the Marxist regime currently destroying Venezuela, the US Navy is currently administering aid to thousands of desperate, starving Venezuelan citizens.

Fox News reports that the USNS Comfort, a floating Navy hospital, has already treated roughly 20,000 Venezuelan nationals in an assignment called Enduring Promise 2018.

The USNS Comfort is equipped with X-ray machines, blood pack supplies, equipment to provide dental, eye, and skin care, as well as supplies for womens health and general medicine.

Many of the patients aboard the ship are being treated for skin infections that put them at risk of sepsis. There are also many infants who are showing symptoms of not only dehydration and malnutrition but congenital defects.

There are also many cardiac issues and issues relating to diabetes, along with many other health issues generally relating to poor nutrition and a lack of medical care.

Life in the desperate nation has also led to mental health issues as well, Fox notes.

The Comfort is in the region as per a partnership with Columbia, Peru, Ecuador, and Honduras, and administers treatment either on board or on partner sites on land. There are four helicopters aboard which can fly patients to and from partner medical sites.

Ensign Cody L. Leim, Navy Public Affairs Officer, told Fox that US personnel treat anyone they are presented with without regard for immigration status.

We want every individual that comes to us seeking treatment to know that they will be treated to the same standard, with the highest level of respect, which we would provide to our own family members, he explained.

Meanwhile, Venezuelans own government is letting them starve in the street like stray dogs, while the actual stray dogs are hunted down as food.
