Brian Kolfage, a triple amputee Air Force veteran and Purple Heart medal recipient, created the page titled "We The People Will Fund The Wall." Kolfage hopes to raise $1 billion.
Like a majority of those American citizens who voted to elect President Donald J Trump, we voted for him to Make America Great Again. President Trumps main campaign promise was to BUILD THE WALL. And as hes followed through on just about every promise so far, this wall project needs to be completed still, wrote Brian Kolfage.
Supporters chanted "Build that wall!" at Trump rallies before and after his election.
The Democrats have refused funding the wall, sparking a partial shutdown the government.
President Trump is committed for the long haul, according to administration officials unauthorized to speak publicly and granted anonymity. After early threats to shut down government over the wall, he now believes he's got public opinion and, at very least, his base of supporters behind him.
President and Mrs. Obama built/has a ten foot Wall around their D.C. mansion/compound. I agree, totally necessary for their safety and security. The U.S. needs the same thing, slightly larger version!" Trumped tweeted.
A triple amputee injured in the Iraq War in 2004, Kolfage said he has contacted the Trump administration about where to send the money once the fundraiser ends.
As a veteran who has given so much, 3 limbs, I feel deeply invested to this nation to ensure future generations have everything we have today. Too many Americans have been murdered by illegal aliens and too many illegals are taking advantage of the United States taxpayers with no means of ever contributing to our society, wrote Kolfage.
An opposing GoFundMe account was created to raise money for ladders so people could climb over the wall. "Latter's To Get Over Trump's Wall" has raised over $150,000. Another GoFundMe account was made to support tunnels that would run underneath the border wall. The "Support Tunnels Under Trumps Wall" campaign has made over $2,500.
