Seems like guns and ammo have been selling a record clips (no pun intended) for awhile now... but now some are saying it's like nothing they have ever seen before!
Being on the thrifty side, I have not been going to the range and wasting ammo myself, rather saving it for when it's really needed. I can routinely group an entire mag within a one foot by one foot section at the range regardless of how long I have taken a break from practice, and while I feel there is always room to practice and improve the reality is it's no longer routine or inexpensive to find or buy ammo. If money is no object, yes, it's not as bad... but you could still find your local supplier running out here and there!
It looks like folks are stocking-up in preparation of new gun laws that may be instated...

Secretary Pete has no jurisdiction over guns. And I haven't heard of anything from the people with jurisdiction about doing so. This is just right wing propoganda.
Oh, I figured that if people are stocking-up, new laws may be not too-far away, that's all...
However, I did read an interesting article indicating that at ground-level, the good folks of the US-of-A are being manipulated into a possible new Civil War...That would be shyte if such a thing happens...

Yes Rastus, I am currently making a thread about Chicago's mayor Lori Lightfoot who can openly discriminate against reporters based on the color of their skin!
It's this sort of thing that will bring about civil war! Yet she says she would do it again without any media outrage!

Prices are returning to somewhat normal, supplies are sketchy, but can be found with a little leg work. Internet sales are pretty consistent, just add in shipping costs when comparing to local outlets.
.223/5.56 is still about 80% over normal. 7.62 is about 10-15% over this time last year.
Pistol ammo is up and down, depending on caliber and quantity. Some 9mm is 2-3x what it was last year, same with .45acp. There are deals in .40S&W, as it doesnt seem to have the market penetration of the previous two.

I am sorry, Senator. I have no clear recollection of the events in question!
That's good news for me then if I was in the market for ammo!
Friend of mine who loves to target practice picks up a lot of ammo on-line and swears by it. Buys buckets and cases at a time! He says it's the best bang for the buck.
