The largest study on cannabis and its impact on brain function suggests the use of the substance has a statistically significant effect on working memory, per findings released yesterday.

Participants were categorized based on their lifetime usage: Heavy users had used cannabis more than 1,000 times, moderate users had used it between 10 and 999 times, and nonusers had used it fewer than 10 times. Results (view abstract) showed 63% of heavy lifetime cannabis users and 68% of recent users experienced reduced brain activity when performing working memory tasks. Working memory allows individuals to retain and manipulate short-term information, such as memorizing directions or solving math problems mentally.

Why Law Wont Stop Trump: the View of a Former Deputy Inspector General
As we search for ways to resist efforts by President Trump and his surrogates to undermine our democracy and cripple our government, we focus on pillars of our system Congress, Courts, and Press. Congress, controlled by Republicans, is demonstrating it is not up to the task. The media are as confused and uncertain as the rest of us, and the overwhelming power of social media serves to sow confusion. As a result, many of us are focusing on a major pillar of our systemthe rule of law. We are counting on our federal and state Courts to roll back and restrain Trumps more outrageous actions.
There is little reason to believe that Trump and his followers will be constrained by the law, however. The Supreme Court has given Trump himself a get-out-of-jail free card for all official actions he takes as President. As all orders coming from him to government officials will be considered official, he can not be held liable for any of themno matter how illegal. While his subordinates have not been given these free passes and thus are theoretically culpable for their illegal actions, Trump has the ability to pardon them. So they need not be constrained by the law either.
The reality of our crisis is demonstrated by what is actually taking place within government agencies. Trump is taking illegal actions and they are been carried out. He fired 17 or 18 inspectors general, effective immediately. This is illegal; Congress requires that it must be notified 30 days in advance for the firing of an inspector general, and a cause for this firing must be given. Neither of these things was done. By law, all of these individuals should have remained on the job, pending the proper procedures. One Inspector General challenged the order. Phyllis Fong, a 22-year veteran of the US Department of Agriculture, said she intended to stay because proper protocols had not been followed. She was escorted out of the building by security agents.
Trumps take over of the Justice Department and the FBI makes it even more clear that he will be able to fire anyone and undertake any investigations or actions no matter their legality. He is firing apolitical federal prosecutors and agents for doing their jobs and participating in legitimate investigationsa violation of civil service protections. His followers will stock these institutions with their fellow believers and proceed. Whether or not charges brought by them are ultimately upheld in court is almost irrelevant. Years of litigation and prosecution will be sufficient to ruin people.
Other frightening actions are unfolding rapidly. Elon Musks surrogates have gotten access to the Treasury Departments payments system. This system is responsible for sending out trillions of dollars in payments to individuals and groups, including Social Security payments. Anyone with control of the system could presumably target their enemies and withhold payments to them. Illegal? Yes! So what? Similar actions have shut down US AID operations around the world, causing large-scale suffering.
The order issued by Trumps budget office to halt government funding and grants last week was illegal because the president does not have the right to stop payments that have been authorized by Congress. This order was pulled back after a day of chaos as well as court injunction. It is not clear what prompted Trump to pull back the order, but probably it was the chaosnot the court order. Red states were being hit harder than Blue states. I think it is likely that, in the future, Trump will pay little attention to court orders. Federal courts have to rely on government institutions to ensure that their orders are carried out. How can such orders be carried out when Trump controls these institutions?

President Trump has been kicking ass and taking names! Going on the second month in office and he has been pulling the levers of power with skill and precision! He's doing it SO WELL that some on the left are trying to claim a constitutional crisis!
If we take a look at the past four years, I think it's safe to say this crisis has been ongoing for some time! Take for example the Biden Administrations weaponization of the Justice system... I told PowerStroker countless times it was a VERY bad idea, and that while it may feel good for Democrats "in the moment" it's going to REALLY sting when Democrats are out of office and they have set a dangerous precedent... fast forward to today and Democrats are indeed out of power, not only that -- Trump has returned to the Oval Office. It's really not so funny to Democrats now as it was when, say... they had alphabet agents searching thru Melania's underwear drawer. But this is the precedent they have set and it's only too clear that Trump has one shot at fixing this or risk spending the rest of his life fighting off frivolous lawsuits and criminal charges.
So it goes without saying that he would be floating the idea of a third term... because honestly, that past four years have re-enforced to him that this is the fight of his life. This has a lot of Democrats loosing their minds, but may I remind them that FDR was a Democrat that managed to get four terms before finally dying in office. I myself would be more open to a third term than say, an all out World War -- which is no doubt one of the ways Trump could root out his own countrymen who wish to see him crushed under the weight of the Government. What happened with Biden is awfully strange -- and it's very clear that the combined effort of past Obama Administration players were the ones pulling the levers back when this "constitutional crisis" started. I think perhaps the reason things able to get so far out of hand was because Biden himself was so far out of his mind. We all knew when Biden took office he was not competent as they hid him in the basement, and pumped him full of drugs and teleprompters whenever they "staged" any of his appearances. Biden also granted some highly unusual pardons in his final days, although his mental state was surly the best pardon of them all.
Now we are having to clean up this constitutional crisis to ensure our elected officials who only serve two four year terms ae not usurped by activist -- at every level.
The insanity of men being allowed to play in women's sports, men being able to use women's bathrooms, gay rights being forced down children's throats to the point Democrats want to allow children to change their sexual orientation followed by numerous other issues that represent a very small minority of the people -- from immigration and giving money away to foreign adversaries while leaving our borders open to -- there is not much of anything that appeals to me on the Democrat side, outside of a few women whom I feel are being forced to carry the Democrat water. Even PowerStroker to some degree exhibits forced water carrying traits from time to time. While he can't come right out and say it, you can read it between the lines.
All that said, it didn't have to be this way. Most people didn't want it to be this way.

From what I understand it goes like this -- in layman's terms "A President is not termed out until He/She serves two consecutive terms in a row or has been elected three times"
That would exclude Obama and any other President who served two terms back to back.
"In a row" isn't part of it. The only way he could run for a 3rd term is if for example he was vice president to a president who died or left office more than half way through their term. If his first term was less than 2 years, he could run for a 3rd in that instance. This is not the case for the Donlad, but like you say, the Constitution could be amended.
The Ukrainian constitution has a provision that postpones presidential elections during times of martial law. Martial law in Ukraine can be extended in 90 day increments by approval of their Congress, and they have done so several times already. Once Russia is pushed back across their side of the border, the Ukrainian Congress will stop extending martial law, and Ukraine will return to its regularly scheduled democracy. Zelenskyy is not a dictator, he is following the law.
Our Constitution has no such provision by the way.
If you want Zelenskyy to leave office, the best way to accomplish that is to help him defeat Russia.

The Constitution was amended to limit a president to 2 terms AFTER FDR.
If you want a Trump 3rd term, you need to amend the Constitution again.
