To run for US President one needs birthright citizenship, this is not the case for down ballot races.
Much of our lives are socialized ie: the military, the roads we drive on (less toll roads), the postal service, police and fire protection etc. Perhaps he feels he'd like to add healthcare to that list, does that make him evil? I don't think so. Most modern democracies have socialized healthcare. There is also a place for private ownership of things too, it's about finding balance.

I think this might actually be the first time NYC breaks with the Democrats -- and if they don't? Well, I don't plan to ever visit NYC again anyway!
Someone who has only been a citizen for seven years and who still has dual allegiance/citizenship running one of the biggest cities in the nation (NYC) just seems... well.

Giuliani was very stable until he had to fight off the entire Democrat party and the weight of the Federal Government when Democrats were in power going after Trump!

New York City is about to become section 8 housing.
I was never really impressed with NYC... went there once for New Years Eve and it was more or less a crowded mess of people and it wasn't even much fun. Dirty, and the police all come across like Nazi SS soldiers.
Haven't been back and have absolutely no desire to return. The people of New York deserve what they are about to get -- much like the people of Minnesota who went down that road.

But now they have lawyered up, and some are saying they were misunderstood! lol, that is the problem -- they get in front of liberal judges and they just get let go!
Dearborn is about 55% Muslim, and currently has almost all of their local Government Muslim as well... even the Police force for Dearborn was flirting with Police patches written in Islamic!
This is not assimilation -- it's the call to prayer being broadcast over loudspeaker five times a day because that's what happens when a minority becomes a majority! They want to turn it into the shithole they came from!
They can always go back to any of the Muslim nations they come from if that's what they want! But it's been this way to a lesser degree going all the way back to the late 70's and 80's!
Only now it's to the point most people don't even want to go there -- even if they are white! And that is exactly what they want!
