Has anyone noticed the sly of hand between the big phone companies AT&T and SBC?
Seems that Cingular wireless that is owned by SBC bought out AT&T Wireless
Meanwhile SBC buys out AT&T and then says that it is keeping the AT&T name becuase its a better global footprint.
What the hell scam is going on there I do not know. I will say that since this whole thing happend Cingular makes claims that its network is the best out there and has even run commercials stating that "if you are tired of dropped calls then drop your network". This is real funny considerding I find the network to be very unreliable and have lots of dropped calls.
The customer service is good with Cingular so I guess thats why I stay but I dont like companies with names like
AT&T Knowledge Ventures
and
SBC Knowledge Ventures
Sounds like pretty soon we will be watching the Running man!
