Well it does sound strange, and that must be the main reason that I clicked on the link. I myself do not find the thought of a home made out of shipping containers to be desireable. After reading the article the cost of building one is not far off from building a real home, and the end results of the shipping container homes do not sound worth the money.
They claim to be buying old shipping containers, stacking them and putting windows in doors in them, and in some cases even the original plywood flooring is left untouched and used. I myself would worry about contaminations that could have been exposed to these surfaces prior to the purchase.
Stoma would no doubt take like a fish to water in one of these homes. In fact I bet he is already calling up to have one made.
