Seems China is playing the old "Drought" card as well, and the solution for them is seeding the clouds with more than 500 cigarette-size sticks of silver iodide into clouds from 28 weather rocket-launch bases in the city.
Now I aint no scientist, however this sort of thing was talked about some 4 or 5 years ago when Nebraska was seeding the clouds to help get more water for crops. People in Colorado were bitching that the Nebraskans were seeding the clouds and taking their rain. I know because I was there, and I thought the people talking about it were crazy. Now I know they were not. Just as the Asians seem to copy just about everything we do, now they are seeding the clouds and claiming to have produced the snow that hit China this week.
I wonder what sort of long term effect this will have on the world? Also what sort of dangers may be caused from such seedings. What about the natural flow? Does this seeding throw off the earths natural flow, causing such things as hurricans and other major weather problems? Perhaps the seeding is what causes the un-natural drought that they are complaining about? Seems to me this is some more crazy BS that people are being exposed to without any forum of test. One can not argue that making it rain when its not supposed to will have an equal and opposite effect somewhere down the line. Im thinking something along the lines of droughts in California, Katrina, and the Typhons. I say we put this crap to an end right quick!
