Well a few weeks back a buddy of mine got his tax return and kidnapped me. He took me to the local Canton Computer where they hooked us up with around $1500 worth of parts and software.
The system - 3.0 GHZ Pentium 4 Duo-Core w/ ASUS board 3G ram, 1TB Sada Drive, ATI RADION card, and a very nice ANTEC case.
We chose the Windows Vista Home Premium 64 Bit opperating system and I was amazed at how fast and easy Microsoft has made installing their opperating system. In using it just once I can honestly say that I am considering an upgrade myself.
The whole entire system went together in about 3 hours including install of the opperating system and it was done in my living room.
Also intersting to note is the processor which no longer has pins on the bottom. I myself think this was a good idea so there is no more risk when installing them. Note the processor fan which is a PITA to install and takes some getting used to.
