On any other day at Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, Daniel Galli and his four friends would not even be noticed for wearing T-shirts with the American flag2_bing.gif. But Cinco de Mayo is not any typical day especially on a campus with a large Mexican American student population.

Galli says he and his friends were sitting at a table during brunch break when the vice principal asked two of the boys to remove American flag bandannas that they wearing on their heads and for the others to turn their American flag T-shirts inside out. When they refused, the boys were ordered to go to the principal's office.

"They said we could wear it on any other day," Daniel Galli said, "but today is sensitive to Mexican-Americans because it's supposed to be their holiday so we were not allowed to wear it today."

I am pretty sure there was no flag burning going on, then again I can't see this sort of action being any less offencive. I think the real Americans in that school are handling it quite well. I felt it was important enough to mention.

Seems a local apartment complex in a city near me claims that people can not put up flags because the pose a safty hazard! LOL What a load of bullshit!

I want to call the place and see what kind of people own this complex. Apparently they are taking donations for a flag pole, but one would think that an apartment complex could pony up the cash without donations.

I wish my daily attire consisted of a lapel to place such ornament upon, however as it stands I just been sporting the confederate flag licence plate; whilst I drive my imperalistic gas guzzling Mercedes. Keep in mind it was rebuilt by an American who buys Wic brand USA filters and USA oil/Fuel.

Still I really do get sick when I hear these kind of things. The nerve of these people. I try telling myself this apartment complex has this rule to thwart people from flying any flag. After all someone could decide to hang a swastika or confederate flag which may not go over well with some, but the fact that an American flag here in America is starting to have the same effect is what gets me so bent out of shape.

If you have a confederate license plate then you are a lot less patriotic than Obama. The confederacy fought against the United States in an effort to leave the union. That is the OPPOSIT of patriotism... Actually it's treason. No wonder you're a Republican, you fit right in with the rest of those treasonous motherfuckers.

Settle down skippy... The license plate was a gift and it looked good on that black F250. I do not live in the south. My thoughts here are that the nation is seperating under Obama, much like the North and South years ago. While I cant control what Obama does, I can place my vote in opposition.
