Well here is proof that society at large and the media are about as clueless as Obama on a good day.
Apparently these two dorks come up with the bright idea to put mentos inside a carbonated soda bottle and were just amazed that the chemical reaction built pressure. Most people are like "No shit". These dorks however took it a little further. I am not sure if Coke or Mentos is donating all of the resources for this madness in what I consider to be a cheap stab at advertisement however the wastefulness and futility of this entire demonstration leaves me sitting here disgusted.
Enjoy

I don't see fucking up Coke Zero and Mentos as being a waste of anything other than the time spent manufacturing these two products The REAL waste in the whole equation).
http://www.eepybird.com/ looks to be living proof that you Yanks have wwwaaaayyyyy too much free time.
Spare me Pogo... It was a waste of time building that contraption, it was a waste of time taping that video, the WHOLE DAMN THING is a JOKE. My 6 year old kid could think up something better than that ignorant bullshit.
They are DORKS. And it proves the media is without a clue.

Yet you found it worthwhile to post it on your site... Doesn't that make your criticism of the media for doing the same thing a little - I dunno, hypocritical???
Nice try PowerStroker, however I spared you all the article link that suggested that the above video was a "Tech Marvel". Instead I put the title as the dumbest thing you have ever seen so you didnt watch it thinking it was going to be something interesting.
You are reaching for something that isnt there PowerStroker... We can see your true Democrat spin Dr. side in full color now!

Marshal McLuhan once stated that "the medium is the message"... This self effacing philosopher would probably agree that the entire production could never be hosted, dreamt of nor responded to in any other country than the USofA. (I hesitate to say "America" since Canada is, in fact, part of "America"... or should I say that the US is PART of America).
I find the video essay neither amusing nor disdainful.... It IS poorly done slapstick and, in all of this, the world sees it as "Americans" being "American". Business as usual.
The lengths that some will go through to have their 15 minutes... I understand Break.com will even pay you guys to act stupid.
Just think what it must have been like for the one chick on board with 6 guys for almost 3 months. Factor in that from afar she isn't bad looking, but is that Neon Red hair I see?
One guy even missed his son's birth, which I thought was a little too die hard for my taste, but if his woman don't mind it's none of my business.
