What do you guys plan on doing this 4th of July weekend? I myself plan to stick around the area and attend a family BBQ out at the lake and doing a little fishing. The only problem is the place I am going said there is no fireworks allowed. This is somewhat frustrating, as a 4th of July without fireworks just isn't the same.
While the kids claim they dont have a problem with the fireworks restriction, I know they will be bitching when night time comes around and they dont have any cool fireworks.
One year I had to resort to making accetaline firecrackers with Gumout wicks. I have heard stories about guys filling up entire garbage bags full and setting them off. This one guy that used to work at my dad's shop back in the 80's said they were doing that and the static charge off one of the bags set it off and sent him over the hood of his car! LOL
That reminds me, check out this video where someone puts a car air bag under the sofa cusion and someone unknowingly sits on it.
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY EVERYONE!

I plan on doing fuck all.... we already did it for July 1st....
Now... as I recall, something happened in August of 1814 and I'll be damned if I can remember what it was.... Couldn't have been too important... something about a bonfire and some scrap wood...
I imagine Stoma would tell us you suck and swallow... however, I really don't give a rats rosy red what you do... it wasn't your flag that got burned.... it was your seat of government.
Sometimnes you guys are just too full of yourselves.

I've already cleaned and juiced up the interior of the Corvette along with some space age polymer spray wax and of course tire and rim treatments... looking so damn good I had to put the car cover on it to ensure it's flawless when I take it out. Seems lately it's so damn dusty that even after a day there will be a build-up of dust and it just pisses me off... smart asses here at the house asking me if I was putting it away for the year when I got out my factory fitted car cover and it's like they just don't get it! "Oh what's a little dust" they say...
Probably going to wax the Firebird next, already been in the pool... it was nice taking a dip after the long hot job of washing the Corvette. Probably go back in the pool after the Firebird, then maybe clean the garage and list some parts on eBay for next week.
Looking like BBQ burgers, hot dogs - which according to Biden cost me .16 cents less this year (meanwhile everything else cost near double from gas to beef). I get the all beef hotdogs so the Government must keep that .16 cents on that kind because it seemed like they were $1 more than usual.
So yeah, a lazy day for me too.
