Mercedes-Benz SL is rated the most ticketed vehicle on the road!

Yeah... According to MSN the Mercedes-Benz SL convertible is the most ticket prone vehicle on he road! With drivers of the vehicle being at or around the age of 53!

http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/Insurance/InsureYourCar/which-cars-get-the-most-tickets.aspx

Then again the Consumer Reports people prolly own the MSN money central site, because wouldn't you know it the Toyota is #2 and the Lexus is no where on the list.

Then again the Lexus is pretty slow, and ugly. Much like their owners. Truth is the numbers of SL's on the roads are pretty small, given their $100,000 + price tag. Amazing the Ford Mustang, Chevy Camaro and Corvette are also no-where to been seen on the list.

Given the past information given by MSN about automobiles I wouldn't put much stock in what they have to say.

One only needs to look at how they conveniently came up with these results... They are going by the amount of violations per 100,000 miles of ownership... WTF?

Looks to me like they are just trying to jack up the insurance rates for Mercedes owners!

That and the fact that pretty much none of the other vehicles on the list could even make it 100,000 miles much less the owners wanting to keep them that long.

Anymore anything on the internet is nothing but twisted self-serving bullshit.

I know for a fact MSN is full of shit because when I owned Mustangs and Camaro's I had points coming out of my ass from tickets! When I got a Mercedes that all changed.

These idiots on MSN must have spent WEEKS trying to figure out a method for them to slam the Mercedes... Most of the people who own a vehicle for 100,000 miles usually have had them for more than 10 years. Meanwhile we have the younger crowed being totally overlooked racking up a bazillion tickets yet that doesn't matter cuz these kids loose their license, then sell the car well before they ever see 100,000 miles!

What a load of horse shit!

Want more proof these MSN people are full of shit?

The Scion was FOUNDED in 2002... The year is 2010. Using the method of 12,000 miles per year there is really no way in the world that there are that many owners on the road driving Scions with 100,000 miles. I should also mention that before 2005 no one really ever heard of, let alone seen a Scion. Ugly ass car deserves to be pulled over an ticked as a eye sore to people that have to look at it.

These people at MSN are smoking crack!
