I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas this year! Most all Jesus loving folk will tell you Christmas time is a special time of year, and the lead up can also be quite a challenge not to mention a whole lot of stress.
This year the family and I got to celebrate Christmas in our new house, but we got something for Christmas we weren't expecting... A nasty Flu virus that started on Christmas day and is still lingering on to this very second. I'd like to point out this years Flu is quite nasty, expect at LEAST two days in bed, 103+ temps, coughing until your sides and ribs hurt and profuse cold sweats. Unlike most flu's this one does not go away when you break the fever. Nope... This little bastard will actually come back! Thats why I say allow at least 2 days in bed, because you wont be worth a damn and could actually make things worse! The next 3-4 days wont be much fun either, but at least you will be able to walk. Lot's of Nyquil and Ibuprofen.
All in all Christmas was a success, with a reminder that your health could be the most important gift we get. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!
I just hope I am well enough to at least enjoy New Years eve, but it ain't looking good as of right now. Not to mention I am about 1 week behind on work and we almost got a foot of snow on the ground, which makes my current accomidations an absolute bitch to work with. Took two days to dig out and that's with the use of snowblowers!
I think I am just going to take it easy this new year.

My Christmas was good. I went to my mom's on Christmas Eve and hung out with her new fiance (don't get me started). Then on Christmas Day I went to my step mom's house.
Looking back on this thread I am very thankful I was not sick like I was in 2012! Man, even to this day I will never forget how sick the entire family was that year!
I thank the good Lord we didn't have a repeat this year!
Merry Christmas 2019 everyone! Even if you didn't get what you wanted, if you have your health you did alright!

Just a reminder to everyone that the Flu was a mean mother-fucker back in 2012 too!
Hope everyone had a safe, happy and healthy Christmas 2020!
COVID made the 2020 X-Mas a very strange one, but it had all the markings of a good ole' Christmas none the less!
Hopefully the New Year will bring us all good health and wealth to enjoy it to the fullest!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
