We got hit with even more snow today! It's just insane!
Georgia got two inches and it shut down the entire city.. Anymore if it's not under 0 degrees or a foot of snow they don't even call off school for the kids. Guess us northern states are more able to deal with such weather, but it still sucks. I'm starting to get cabin fever! LOL

The days are getting longer now for you now, though I don't know when your weather will really start to improve...All I know is that our winter is coming soon...

Yeah I have noticed the days getting a little longer. What seems odd to me is the amount of time we have had sub zero temperatures and how long the snow has "stuck". I sure hope you guys don't have this brutal of a winter down there. I've not ever been to you neck of the woods, so I'm unsure what kind of winter you guy have. Do you get snow and subzero temps like this down there? In all my years of TV watching I've never seen Australia with snow.
Here is to hoping you guys are spared. Because I think I read somewhere this is the worst winter on record in 20 years! Thinking back, that sounds about right.

Yeah, we do get snow here, though it's usually bound to the higher land-levels, & usually not near coastal towns / cities. We get hot summers here, often 100 degrees plus in your scale, & then comes a cold-snap out-of-the-blue in the middle of all this, & snow will fall again in the mountains LOL. So I guess you could say we get it all, often unexpected, & all year round ! There's a mountain-range here in Oz called the Great Dividing Range that's on the East-Coast, & basically runs from the very-top of Oz in the north, & all the way south, including Tasmania, except that there's a little bit of ocean in-between here...You'll find snow, often out-of-season on these mountains, from all the way South, pretty much right up to Sydney, & sometimes a little beyond. Tasmania is pretty-cold in Winter, with the possibility of snow falling in towns etc, though we definitely don't get snowed in like you do, & probably no-where-near as cold either.
Cheers,
