Has anyone noticed how slow things have been the past year? Not just on this forum, but many others?
Almost feels like one of a few things is going on here;
1) People are afraid to speak up.
2) People have come to the conclusion that speaking up is a worthless waste of time, and have pretty much given up.
I know that debate as it pertains to political issues is at an all time low on this forum, and many others as well! People simply have given up, or are afraid to speak out on issues that concern them. It's a stark contrast, even if you just flip back a few pages on this forum.
Is it just me? Or have you noticed this trend also?

Things were relatively normal I thought until I reluctantly started posting the horrible Fukushima up-dates...Once I started posting that stuff, I noticed lots of people visited here, but no-ones been posting...
Maybe you're right in that since we're all being bull-shitted left-right-&-center, people are saying "what's the point in posting" ?

I just figured since it was an election year more people would be debating on political issues. Given the political climate all over the world, and with Russia and the USA at odds over Ukraine, I'd say the fallout from such a confrontation could make Fukashima insignificant. No pun intended.
We basically have a war by proxy between Russia and the USA. Ukraine and Syria are both places that could easily boil over. Anyone who says otherwise is just fooling themselves.
