$10,000 deductibles in the Bronze plan under Obama's Affordable Care Act?

Is a $10,000 dedctible what ANYONE would consider to be "affordable" for a family?

Well that's what Pelosi, Obama and the Democrats want you to think! Yet I have done reseach on this only to find that for hospital visits there is in fact a $10,000 deductible for families if they elect to seek emergency medical treatment at a hospital. What's worse? You are FORCED to buy this plan at minimum, or be fined!

Now to me, any insurance plan with a deductible of $10,000 isn't really insurance, it's an outright SCAM! The fact Americans are being forced to buy it (at a minimum) is downright despicable! How on earth is a lower income family supposed to justify spending money on such a plan, knowing that they would be one emergency from going bankrupt!? 

Can anyone tell me that this is acceptable by any stretch of the imagination? Can anyone tell me how this plan would prevent a lower income family from going bankrupt should anyone in their family need emergency care?

As someone with a family who is being forced to buy insurance under ObamaCare (ACA) under the threat of a fine; I'm just curious what everyone else thinks about this often times unmentioned fact?

I'm not sure I understand how fining some-one money, for insurance that they can't afford, is going to help that family fund the insurance....

I thought the USA was a democracy ?...Almost sounds like a dictatorship to me...

I'd have to give them plans a better look, but I can only imagine how much they would cost. 

Regardless, the bronze plan -- with its $10,000 deductible is not insurance! It preys on the very people this whole plan was supposed to help -- the lower income people. 

I could understand $1,000 deductible for the bronze plan, but $10,000!? You have to admit, that's not even reasonable!

The cheapest car insurance plans have high deductibles too. But since Obama has no involvement in those you don't feel the need to complain?
