After assessing the otherwise total drought of creativity since switching to Apples iPhones I set out to upgrade my kids Windows 8.1 operating system with Windows 10. I'm sure the regulars here recall the outright disaster that 8.1 was, there is a thread on here titled "Windows a worthless waste of time" that details the extent of my displeasure with 8.1
But now, after having had the pleasure of upgrading to and using Windows 10 I'm happy to say "Microsoft is back"! The migration was painless and went smooth. The feel of the Windows 10 desktop coming off Windows XP was extraordinarily native and comfortable! I'm impressed and I'm seriously going to be looking a new PC rather than a Mac... I'm even considering giving their phones a closer look as well. I'm actually excited and feel Inspired!

That's awesome news ! My little lap-top I think is close to 2-years old now, & that means "living on borrowed time"...I may get another 2-years out-of-it, but "death-day" is closer than further away....
"Windows 8" I was not pleased with, & like yourself spent 2-days turning it back into operating like a regular computer again, & not an e-bay touch screen supermarket device.
I'm not saying I look forward to having to use Windows 10 when the time comes, but it's good to know it will be less of a pain-in-the-ass to use !
Cheers,
Rastus
