Trump Knows Republicans Are Stupid, Jared Kushner Allegedly Said to Former Editor

One of the strategies Donald Trump employed as he began putting his name on the U.S. political map years ago was championing birtherism, the long-held conspiracy theory that President Barack Obama was born outside of the U.S. and hence should never have been elected. He often chastised Obama and demanded the president produce his birth certificate, revving up an anti-Obama base that eventually helped put Trump in the White House.

Evidently, Trump may have been using the so-called birthers only as a means to an end.

His son-in-law, Jared Kushner, who is also a senior adviser to the president, allegedly told a former editor of the newspaper he once owned that the billionaire real-estate mogul didnt believe his own birtherism claims, and only made them to charge up Republicans because they are stupid, GQ reported.

During a discussion on how to cover Trump, the former New York Observer editor, Elizabeth Spiers, claimed she told Kushner that she had serious problems with Trumps repeated claims that Obama was not born in the U.S., to which Kushner allegedly told her: "He doesn't really believe it, Elizabeth. He just knows Republicans are stupid and they'll buy it." 

Spiers told her Kushner anecdote in response to a question from a conservative blogger on Facebook, and then screenshotted the response and put it up on Twitter.

From early 2011 to late 2012, Spiers served as the Observers editor-in-chief and as editorial director of Observer Media Group, according to her LinkedIn profile, and also helped found the since-vanished website Gawker in 2002. Kushner bought the newspaper for $10 million in 2006, and in November discontinued its print edition. Kushner stepped down as the papers publisher in January.

If Spierss story is true, Kushner once again finds himself at the heart of a troubling story. For the last several days, the 35-year-olds contacts and meetings with Russias ambassador to the U.S., Sergey Kislyak, and a Russian banker during the Trump campaigns transition to the White House have come under the scrutiny of federal intelligence agencies. Kushner was supposedly attempting to set up a back-channel for communication directly with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

However, Kushner is reportedly not being directly investigated himself, and those close to him have said hes likely to offer congressional testimony.

I suppose you meet with and regularly converse with Obama and the Democrats then eh? I guess Obama really respects people like you and everyone else when he visits private islands and vacations all over the world, right!?

YES! Trump is doing the things that I wanted to see from his Presidency! Trump is doing the kinds of things I would expect from a self made billionaire! Unlike Obama who swindled and lied his way to fortune off the backs of the working class! At least with Trump he is deserving! No, I don't play golf with President Trump... I don't eat dinner with President Trump but I don't expect to rub shoulders with the likes of the President because I am not a politician, nor am I a billionaire. 

It is you, PowerStroker, who has been tricked! Obama was, is and always will be a product of government hand outs and affirmative action! He will go to his grave this way too with his government severance and healthcare package! Cradle to grave welfare case!

So PowerStroker, what does Obama really think about people like you?

Today (5-31-2017), Obama closed on an $8.1 million dollar home in D.C.! That's right! Eight million one hundred thousand dollars!

That's on a $400,000 pay check PowerStroker.... BEFORE taxes! 

So let's do the math... A $8,100,000.00 mortgage = $38,298 per month in payments @ 30 years and 3.92% interest...

This amount does not include taxes, nor does it include insurance or any other monthly utilities including upkeep!

The yearly payments on JUST THE MORTGAGE are $459,576 per YEAR! More than he was paid per year while President of the United States! This does not include the money he has to pay for his home in Chicago that he is keeping also... It does not include tuition cost for his daughters both in their private school or for his daughters college education.

So PowerStroker, I think it's clear... You and Democrats are the real fools as clearly Obama has shown the world what he thinks of the lower and middle class scum that put him in office by moving to a rich D.C. neighborhood. Oh, I'm sure you will say all this extra money is from book sales that no-one is buying... Or it's from money they saved while Obama was President and getting everything free at the tax payers expense... Truth is, idiots like you did this PowerStroker, and you have the gull to get on this forum and make these kinds of threads knowing damn well Democrats are even WORSE!

The $400,000 isn't because Wall Street wants to hear Obama speak.... It's chump change to Wall Street! The $400,000 is a small price to pay to prove Obama is FOS and worth every single penny!

Meanwhile, President Trump donates every single penny of his $400,000 per year Presidential salary to charity! President Trump is giving back! Unlike the Obama's who took countless 100's of thousands of dollars in college tuition to become lawyers only to lose their licenses to pure greed, laziness and the unwillingness to give back!

So tell us all Rastus... What has the Obama's done to "give back" to the people? Besides give away other peoples money!?

Obama doesn't get paid $400,000 a year anymore! He is not President! And you are not taking into account other cost of home ownership such as taxes, insurance, utilities, upkeep and services! You are not taking into account food cost, automobile and transportation costs, their kids schooling costs, their appetite for vacations and travel... 

If you ask me, they need to be investigated! I think they got all that money from the Russians!

$200,000 per year is still WAY SHORT of the $450,000 mortgage payment he has to make, so you guys have some explaining to do!

Is he taking money from the Russians? Or is Iran giving him some of them billions back he gave to them unlawfully? There needs to be an investigation!

Based on your collective income figures of Mr. Obama, Id say he gave back plenty, when he could have stolen "x" -amount from the 200-million-dollar-a-day expenses you claim he spent...

In any case, both presidents have associations with Henry Kissinger, the Bilderberg Group, the Russians, & New World Order / Agenda -21 policy.

What? You don't think the DUI of the Tiger video is worth mentioning? Perhaps you felt that I should have started a new thread with the video?

I'm just trying to point out the very long fall of a once shining star athlete, it's a predictive homage to Obama and where I see him in another 4 or 5 years.

Are you trying to suggest that Tiger is not intoxicated? Does he not look visually impaired to you? Doesn't Obama have some self admitted pot and cocaine issues in his past? You don't think when people start to see Obama for the kind of person he really is, that he won't fall apart like Tiger woods?

How could you accuse me of being a racist PowerStroker!? Did you forget that I have a "black" car in the family?

I just don't get it... Black folks get to have their BLM movement, riot and tear $hit up in the streets but if a bunch of white guys did that - OMG he's a racist bigot KKK member!

What don't you and people with your mentality understand about EQUAL? Why should anyone be judged on race or color? Why this rush to judgement that reality and things like morality aren't the "real" issues people are upset about? Do you really think an honest, hard working black man would be denied the opportunity to succeed in this country solely based on the color of his skin? Or could it be that an overwhelming number of blacks have been known to harbor deep rooted animosity towards people of different races to the point that historically speaking, many have been known to be underachievers and otherwise less than honest in this regard? Take Obama for example, you and the rest of the nation know his policies were all $hit and they have fallen apart almost immediately following his departure from office! They were rammed thru so quickly and without any bipartisanship that many of his signature ideas are so poorly crafted that they are beyond even repair! They were fundamentally flawed and bigoted right out of the box! In mechanics terms, they were a "poor design" to which a complete redesign from the ground up is needed! Yet simply pointing out this fact back then, and even now, is considered to be "racist" by the left!? Since when did the "truth" become "racist"? That is the problem itself right there! I'm not saying things and people won't change and I am not saying that their aren't white people out there who fit into this category, but using "race" as defense mechanism like Democrats have the entire 8 years in office is no service to the younger generation who will grow up confused about the reality of life.
