Recently went to list a vehicle on Craigslist and they wanted a $5 listing fee!
Noticed that Craigslist has been dead for awhile now, every since Facebook came out with it's marketplace. Heck I can list 5 vehicles a year for free on eBay and also get a free car fax for each one!
Used to hear that an eBay affiliated company bought out craigslist and was trying to monetize it, makes sense because Craigslist would cut into eBay profits. I don't know if this is a fact, but it is what I heard a long while back.
Anyway, thought I would let people know... had many sales over the years from Craigslist and many people put up with it's antiquated design and features because it was free, I wonder how it will fair under the new pay to play structure. I know I didn't pay $5 and instead listed it for free on Facebook.

They'd be better-off asking for the small fee AFTER the vehicle has been sold IMO.

Probably was too much trouble trying to collect since the people viewing the site don't actually have to be a member to view - although that may change too!
