Yes folks... Seems now days that not even Burger King is above trying to cater to all the crazies who refuse to eat meat...
Burger King has recently introduced a new meat free Whopper which is alleged to be made of mostly soy.
Never mind these meatless patties will be grilled on the same equipment as the regular meat, but they also come topped with Mayo so the Vegans will have to special order one without.
So it makes me wonder, how many soybeans does it take to make a Impossible Whopper? And is this going to offset the orders of soybeans that China is no longer buying?
As for me, I want the beef! Hold the Soy!

Unfortunately it will not come close to replacing the soybeans the Chinese buy...
The question really is how long can China go without sourcing their soybeans from the US...
There was no way to FIX the problems within the US economy without feeling some pain...
Getting better trade deals will be worth the pain eventually...
It would be like drinking diet-Coke...And we all know how great that stuff tastes lol !

all soy and corn based products are soooo bad for your health
Soy can alleviate hot flashes for some menopausal women. However, there have been some concerns that soy might lower a man's testosterone levels. This is because the active ingredients in soy isoflavones are phytoestrogens plant-based compounds that behave much like estrogens.
Soy can cause some mild stomach and intestinal side effects such as constipation, bloating, and nausea. It can also cause allergic reactions involving rash, itching, and anaphylaxis in some people. Some people might experience tiredness. Soy might also affect thyroid function.
Soy is a phytoestrogen, or a plant based estrogen. It contains two isoflavones, genistein and daidzein, which act like estrogen (the female sex hormone) within thebody. Because estrogen plays a role in everything from breast cancer to sexual reproduction, this is where most of the soy controversy stems.
Endocrine disrupting compounds (EDCs) alter the function of the endocrine system and consequently cause adverse health effects. Phytoestrogens, natural plant compounds abundantly found in soy and soy products, behave as weak estrogen mimics or as antiestrogens.
Soy sauce cancer warning. High levels of potentially cancer causing chemicals have been found in some soy sauce products. ... Both chemicals have the potential to cause cancer.

People act like they are doomed for life...it is a growing season...
They are farmers, they do not have to grow soybeans, there are many crops that are in demand...Soybeans are a very profitable crop, but most crops are incredibly profitable...
losing a large customer and the US losing a huge export stings...but it stings China more in the long run and China knows this...
China went from a struggling economy to a world power due to unbalanced free trade with the US...
They need to make some changes...and not buying our soybeans is not a step in the right direction for China...
