I have seen this a lot this year, where an artist will have a concert and sell tickets only to find out later that you must jump thru hoops to gain entry to the event such as locking up your phone and cameras in a pouch (usually Yonder brand), and most recently with Pete Davidson asking fans to not only lock up their phones and cameras but also to sign a NDA! (Non Disclosure Agreement)

I think it's getting way out of hand myself! The nerve of these artist to think they can operate in such a way to strip the rights and devices from it's PAYING fans! 

If I were ever asked to lock up my phone I would refuse! Same goes with signing an NDA! I would demand an immediate refund!

Yo,

From the performers point-of-view, it's quite hard to get into doing-your-thing, when your audience is more interested in their phone / camera, than your performance...( Constant flashes & stuff messes your eye's & attention up ). But since they've paid their way in, I figure they can do what they want. Any coverage is good coverage lol.

Signing a NDA doesn't make any sense to me, when the "press" may be writing about it the next day with pictures & video...

Maybe the "press" is making deals behind-the-scenes for exclusive rights or something ?...

I personally feel it is WRONG on every level! It should be clearly disclosed at the time tickets are sold because I myself would never agree to or buy a ticket to such an event. 

I feel very strongly about this, and I was somewhat shocked to hear that Pete Davidson had started doing this because personally I think that kid is the scum of the earth - and I don't care who he has dated in the past or who his Daddy was! Doesn't change the fact that he is a spoiled little brat who has to be on the top 5 list of ugliest and repulsive looking celebrities. 

Recently Kanye West did something similar when bringing his show here to Detroit, in fact it was the first time I had ever heard of anyone doing it here in Detroit! I had read about such Yonder pouches being used in California but figured that was just standard fare for idiots who lived in California. Now it seems to be spreading and I have no reservations about airing my opinion on the matter.

So in other words Rastus, I completely disagree with your first paragraph!

My problem is, is that I don't even know who "Pete Davidson" is LOL ! It seems he isn't liked.

Anyhow, should the "artiste's" demand this bollox at the time of grabbing your tickets, I guess it's "take it or leave it".

It doesn't bother me in the slightest though to be honest. Everywhere you go in today's world, all you see is people zoned-in-on-their-phones...I'm sick of seeing it.

Pete Davidson is a liberal hack that acts on a little TV show called SNL (Saturday Night Live). He is also known for getting dumped by Ariana Grande and then turning suicidal for a stint... I cannot stand the guy.
