Here we have U.S. Rep. Rashida Tlaib blocking the road at Detroit Metro Airport protesting while the other protestors are arrested! According to Fox News Rashida was given a pass by the Union of the Detroit airport (which actually is in Romulus but is called Detroit Metro).
Imagine a U.S. Representative SITTING IN THE ROAD BLOCKING TRAFFIC! WTF!? Never mind she talks like a sailor and has often times referred to the President of the United States as a "motherfucker" in public and on TV. She was also dragged out of a Trump event back in July for her outburst.
I am curious as to why Rashida was given a pass for her crimes while others were arrested! I think that needs to be looked into because whenever I visit Detroit Metro Airport and block traffic just for a second while trying to pick up someone the Airport Police are right there to keep you moving along. Anyone sitting in the middle of the road at the airport would be arrested promptly, regardless of their protest as they don't play around at the airport and this recent stunt by Tlaib is further proof she has no business in office! Like a rabid dog let off her leash! Blocking the road by sitting in it!? She can continue with that behavior as a private citizen! The fact that she was let off while others went to jail only means that she has unfairly used her influence as a U.S. Rep. to avoid prosecution! It needs to be investigated!
I am pretty sure that such charges for sitting in the middle of an airport street are such that she could no longer run for public office. They should have charged her like the rest of the lawless protesters who decided that their cause was above the citizens right to travel said road un-incumbered and free from such dangerous obstacles! Kind of makes you wonder what kind of people would elect such a person!? We should look closer at her district as well!
I don't believe she is above the law, just like I don't believe Trump is above the law... I would imagine it is more a case of the airport choosing not to press charges against a sitting member of Congress than anything else, which is their prerogative.
Airport security will have everything on camera...Maybe she was protesting peacefully, & trying to clear the road for traffic ?

I seem to recall a US senator who was arrested in an airport bathroom for trying to hook up sexually with a man, and he was a Republican, not that it matters.

And yes, if you are a sitting Congressperson you don't go to protest - unless of course you were trying to stir up some free political advertisement... even still, if you get carried away the irony is it could cost you your seat!
The Airport Union letting Tlaib off, while arresting others is just stark discrimination! She should have been hauled in and made go thru the system like everyone else! Either no one went to jail or they all did! Anything else is discrimination!
