I have been saying it for awhile now, at what point does RBG's deteriorating health issues prevent her from doing her job?
How long will they allow the Democrats to hold this poor woman hostage? At what point does the nation demand that such holding-out is not in the best interest of the country?
I honestly think that RBG thinks she is going to be the first person to cheat death, and that she will forever hold her seat on the SCOTUS - or at least until such time as a Democrat is in office to replace her. This kind of nonsese is not acceptable in any public office, it almost seems cruel and unusual, almost like a bad version of "Weekend at Bernies".
Well, if we follow the precedent set by Republicans after the death of Scallia, we can say with certainly that even if she resigned today her seat should not be filled until after the election and the new Senate is sworn in. That way, the American people can get a chance to weigh in on it.
I will also say, that even on her worst day, she is still the best judge on that court.
Just to be clear on this "precedent", do you mean the one set by Democrats that seen what many considered to be a Republican appointed SCJ murdered at a Democrat donors (read that as an Obama Democrat donor) exclusive and private hunting club? Then having the body creamated before it was even warm, only to delay the appointment of said Justice to ensure we got an all American beer loving conservative to replace him?
Well... let me just say that Trump is going to get another four years... Roberts days of perverting the court with his flip-flop ideology and shit eating grins might just earn him a vacation at the exclusive and private hunting club! Then what? America will start to move forward again, that is what! All Democrats want to do is tear this nation down and make everyone as miserable as they are!
I don't care what your thoughts are of RGB, the reality is that we all age and eventually die. To suggest this woman, who has had a long and distiguished career, does not suffer from being human is somewhat laughable! And while I wish her well as a person, I think perhaps it might be time she thought about taking care of herself, because if her job as a SCJ is her life - then that is a problem too! The longer she stays in the more her legacy will be tarnished - and that is a fact. She has done her job, now her job is to pass the seat on so she can enjoy the rest of her life and take care of herself.

Well, I guess if you are suspicious of those circumstances, it would behoove you to find out which coroner or judge signed off on the death certificate that allowed for disposal of the body without any further investigation. Then see if that person has a history of being any kind of political operative or had any prior reprimands for misconduct.
If you can find proof of either then you'd have my attention. Until then, this is all just a big circle jerk of unfounded conspiracy theory like much of what this entire site has become.
Scalia's own physician and family believe he died of natural causes btw. And Scalia's family was against an autopsy. If Scalia's death were truly a liberal conspiracy, why on earth would they do it while Trump was in office? For fuck's sake, the guy spent the last 40 years looking like he was one prime rib away from a coronary.

It's above my pay grade... it just seemd a little odd... I respect the wishes of the family, but deep down if ever there was something funny I wanted to at least be that lone voice for my prime rib loving brethren!
