"Police said Yamagami was responding calmly to questions and had admitted to attacking Abe, telling investigators he had plotted to kill him because he believed rumors about the former leader's connection to a certain organization that police did not identify.
Ministry of Defense officials that spoke to NHK said the gun used in Abes assassination appears to have been homemade and the suspect, Yamagami"
Wonder what "certian organization" Abe belonged to that the Police would not identify? Also it seems this guy made his own gun, even made it look like a camera of sorts, like in the movie "The Bodyguard" at the end. Just goes to show that people will find a way, even with the strict gun control laws in Japan.

What "certain organization" was he involved with ???...
The Nuke industry...And once the nuke industry destroyed his country, he went "environmentally friendly", found some sanity & courage, & told the nuke-industry to ****-off out of Japan.
And this is the result.

I didn't follow Abe close enough to know his position on nukes, but the fact he's out of power now makes me wonder why the nuke industry would do this... it's a very high profile target.
I'd be interested in knowing who he REALLY blamed, that the police will not mention... It may very well have something to do with the nuke industry in one way or another, a lot of people died in that melt down! That's a lot of upset and hurt people too!
