Pharmaceutical puberty blockers and hormone treatments are not sex change operations. I'm not aware of any current elected officials in my state that are pedophiles, promoted sex changes on children, or were involved in the missing 9 billion either. In fact, they are investigating and prosecuting the people involved in the fraud.

It's mutilation of their body regardless, against God's plan for his children. He wanted little boys to grow up as men, not grow tits and have no facial hair, no testerone.
These very bigoted people wrote down Gods word, so you are calling God a bigot.
No, I just don't have full faith in the bigoted people of the day who allegedly wrote it down. God spoke directly with Moses and gave him 10 commandments to share with mankind. Homosexuality wasn't mentioned in them. If it was such a big deal, you'd think there would have been an eleventh commandment about it. Then, a long time later when he sent his son, Jesus made no mention of it either. It seems it's not such a big deal to them otherwise they would have specifically spoken on the issue.
I know there are passages in the Bible that speak negatively about it, but to be a Christian is to follow the teachings of Jesus, he made no mention of it. It seems to me, that the true blasphemy, is to attribute ones bigotry to a person who never took a stand on the issue either way. The verse in Matthew you reference as a New Testament justification for bigotry is vague at best. To use it as justification for bigotry, runs contrary to all of the other teachings of Jesus we know.
And straight Christian people get STD's too, so that's a junk argument. Just ask Kid Rock.

Go march in a gay parade then. I gave you some links, check them out, it explains it how Christians see it.
Perhaps the son is more progressive than the father. If that's the case, and if the saving of our souls depends on accepting the son as our lord and savior... Wouldn't it behoove us all to follow the teachings of the son and to live by his example?
If you're a Christian, you certainly know what it means to omit certain truths? Right?
Is the reason you do this so often yet another sin? One of vanity? Because why else would you omit important material facts so often? Because they serve to make you look like an idiot?
It's like they say, some of the worst sinners will be at church every Sunday.

The seven deadly sins are not in the commandments either. What's your point. It's all Gods word, not just the 10 commandments.

Now he will say "vanity isn't in the 10 commandments"

But not the teachings of the father? You both seem to believe that is what's important? Only Jesus teachings? That the old Testament was for old times? Jesus a progressive? Ah, NO. You had grades 1-8 = old testament, and grades 9-12 = New Testament-Jesus teachings. He didn't tell you to forget your 1-8 teachings, he assumes you still know, read and follow them, you still know your abc's, 2+2=4 don't you or they don't count after highschool? Why would you ignore Gods the Fathers teachings once Jesus came along? Fits your progressive agenda better?
Christians tell me often, as a rule if they are unsure of something, something they may do, they ask them selves "would Jesus do that?" WE already know right from wrong but it works pretty good. Youse 2 use that? Personally, I never call myself a Christian, people that see my actions, or hear my words from the bible call me a Christian. Or a bigot!!! bwahahaha Christian is Christlike. I try but I fall short in my eyes, and won't call myself one. I'm not worthy to stand in his shadow let alone call myself christlike.

It's more simple than that. To save your soul, Jews follow (parts of) the Old Testament, Christians follow the New Testament... And Mormons follow the New-New Testament.
It's not that Christians believe the Old Testament to be false, or that the opinions expressed in the Old Testament by God, the father of Jesus don't matter. Christians believe that in order to save our souls, we must accept Jesus Christ as our lord and savior, and live by his teachings. And where the teachings differ between the father and son, we must err toward the son because he died to save all of us.
We no longer put people to death for touching a dead pigs skin, or for working on the Sabbath. This is because Jesus died to forgive us of our sins. Perhaps those actions are still sins in the eyes of the father, but we are forgiven for them now. We no longer need sell our daughters into slavery either as sanctioned in Leviticus. We have evolved and become more enlightened. We forgive the trespasses of others, as we have had ours forgiven. This is what Christianity is.
Anyone who looks toward the cruelties documented in the Old Testament as justification for their own bigotries should probably retake Sunday school.

I'm not trying to slow anyones Holy rolling, but eh... the cost of goods and services have been rising due to tariffs and now the Government says they are going to be returning them tariffs to companies.
And, eh... these are mostly big MEGA corporations too... meanwhile I still pay for shit that went down in 2019 (COVID) and I will be paying for it for a long-long time to come.

I understand where you are coming from, we just have different opinions/views. It's OK long as we believe and do our best.
